ACW Garden Centre is pleased to support National Children’s Gardening Week with several events from 26th May – 3rd June 2018.
Design a miniature garden competition
Please submit your entries on A4 paper. Age categories are 5-8, 9-11. Your name and age must be on the front of the design and your email address on the back. Entries must received by the 10th May 2018. Winners will be notified by email by 20th May 2018.
Prize: Winners will get to come to the garden centre during National Children’s Gardening Week and create their garden, have cake and juice in our coffee shop and take your garden and a goody bag home.
(All winners must be accompanied by an adult)
Treasure Trail
See if you can find the characters from National Children’s Week. Entry forms will be available on the checkouts. Just pop your entry in the post box, all winners will be notified by email by 10th June 2018.
Learn about potting up plants
All children will have a chance to pot up a plant during National Children’s Gardening Week and take it home to look after. Times to be arranged. All children to be accompanies by an adult.
